Frequently Asked Questions

What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry, also known as an infinity or forever bracelet, is a clasp-less chain, custom fitted to you and welded together.

How does it work?

Choose a chain from our selection of 14k solid gold, 14k gold filled, and sterling silver. Once you have chosen the perfect chain, it is then measured and customed fitted to you. Using a micro welder we fuse the jump ring that attaches at each end of the chain. One quick spark and your chain is ready, for any outfit, with no fuss of taking off and on.

How long does it last?

This will depend on your daily activities, chain of choice, and the products you use on and near your hands, wrists, and ankles. With care, your chain can last forever, until you want to remove it.

What if I need to remove it?

Carefully cut your chain in the same place it was welded (at the jump ring) using scissors or wire cutters. Save your chain so we can weld it back on (for a small fee and proof of purchase). Remember to please be careful when cutting the jump ring!

What is the difference between solid gold and gold filled?

Solid gold is the same metal throughout that will not fade or tarnish with time. Gold filled is a thick layer of gold that is permanently bonded with another metal using heat and pressure. With great care (avoiding harsh chemicals), storage, and proper cleaning, your gold filled piece can last 5 years or longer.

Can I wear my chain through TSA?

Yes! We have gone through many airports with our chains on.

Can I wear my chain for an MRI?

Consult with your physician if your chain needs to be removed for any reason. Remember, we can always re-weld it!

Can anyone get permanent jewelry?

Due to the welding process, those with pacemakers, metal derived prosthetics, or any metal based implants should not get permanent jewelry.  When in doubt, consult with your physician prior to scheduling an appointment.
